§ 3.20.060. Award of purchases and contracts—Method.

The city shall select among small and minority businesses to be awarded purchases in contract awards pursuant to this section on a competitive basis in the manner provided by the State Purchasing Act of 1957; as amended, Article 2368a, Section 2, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, unless the business is entitled to a preference by law.
