§ 2.52.020. Application—Required—Fingerprinting—Fee.

The applicant for such appointment shall file a written application giving all information, and the vouchers or recommendations, required of applicants for positions on the regular police force, and shall be fingerprinted, but shall not be required to take a civil service examination. The application shall state the purpose for which such special appointment is wanted, and the necessity or desirability of appointing a special policeman for such purpose and shall be accompanied by payment of a fee of twenty-five dollars, which will not be returned.
