§ 13.12.150. Service stations for motor vehicles.

No service pump island, vendor stand, tank or water hydrant, or any other device or structure designed or intended to be used to service motor vehicles shall be erected within twelve feet of the street right-of-way; provided, that in instances where the lot size, shape or other physical characteristic makes this requirement impractical, the traffic engineer may reduce this requirement, but in no case shall this requirement be reduced to less than ten feet. Any such authorization shall be obtained from the traffic engineer in writing before any permit is issued.
