§ 12.90.010. Definitions.

A.

"Designated parking area(s)" means areas along the streetcar route that are marked by a sign and pavement markings to designate the specific location where a person is allowed to park a vehicle.

B.

"Streetcar" means the rail mass transit system, including infrastructure and railcars, owned and operated by the City of El Paso.

C.

"Streetcar route" means the following streets on which the streetcar is located: Santa Fe Street from Father Rahm to Franklin Avenue; Franklin Avenue from Santa Fe Street to Kansas Street; Stanton Street from Franklin Avenue to Baltimore Avenue; Baltimore Avenue from Stanton Street to Oregon Street; Oregon Street from Baltimore Avenue to Franklin Avenue; and Kansas Street from Franklin Avenue to Father Rahm.

D.

"Traffic engineer" means the employee designated by the city manager who is trained and qualified to perform the duties of the traffic engineer as set forth within this code.
