§ 12.44.250. Sign creation required—Violation.

    Whenever by this title or any other ordinance of this city any parking time limits are imposed or parking is prohibited on designated streets or alleys, or the traffic engineer is authorized to create or designate no parking zones or erect signs prohibiting parking, it shall be the duty of the traffic engineer to erect appropriate signs or markings giving notice thereof and no such regulations shall be effective unless said signs or markings are in place at the time of any alleged offense.

    B.

    It shall be a violation for any person to park a vehicle in violation of such no parking zones or parking prohibitions created or designated by the traffic engineer by provided in this title which are signed or marked as may be required by this title.
