§ 12.30.160. Violation.

  • It shall be a violation for any person to work in the public right of way without a permit, except as provided in Section 12.30.110 (emergencies), fail to comply with a traffic control plan, work in violation of a stop work order, use nonconforming devices or devices that have received a red tag or to work in the public right-of-way during hours that are prohibited by this chapter and in the traffic control plan unless such work is specifically excluded from the provisions of this chapter. Any person who violates a provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars. Each day the violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
