§ 10.04.050. Police dogs—Interference with prohibited.

    It is unlawful for any person to wilfully tease, bait, kick, beat, strike, mutilate, injure, disable or kill any dog used by the police department of the city in the performance of functions or duties of such department, or to interfere with or meddle with any such dog while being used by the department or any member thereof in the performance of any functions or duties of the department or of such officer or member.

    B.

    Any person violating this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in Sections 1.08.010 through 1.08.030.
